Somewhere on the Fraser

Monochrome study of a landscape view of the Fraser river.

Line and wash sketch. Quick study of a landscape scene. A river flowing from the bottom left of the image towards the top right. The far bank has tree silhouettes. The right bank is a sandbar with trees and shrubs at the top.

Used Payne’s grey to do this. I don’t love the result. But I enjoyed the process.

I have to remind myself that most of the time it’s not about the destination, it’s about the process and the learning!
